Information about fake E-business of Indiatimes shopping

I have been cheated by India times shopping. I have given order of NOKIA dual sim(Black) with order no. 3005122972 dated 16.05.2015. from Indiatimes shopping through website www.shopping.indiatimes.com and make payment of Rs. 2899 through credit card. I received one parcel containing some of broken mobile covers on 27.05.2015. I have received some broken mobile covers against the order of B3007325 - Nokia 225 Dual SIM (Black) mobile phone. After that I repeatedly call to customer care and sent mail to the them informing this bad incident , but they are not taking any action. I have reported a case against this in their web portal with complaint ID – 2032302 I also sent them snapshots of received item but still they are not taking any action about replacement or refund the amount. Some similar response they are sending frequently in response to my mail, that "We would like to inform you that we have already shared your concern to our higher department regarding your concern so we would request you to please allow some time to resolve this concern once we will get any update regarding the same we will also update you.". I think they are fake E-retailer. Now I want flash this incident into media (Social and print) to aware the common people against IT shopping. I want to take legal action against them. Please help me in this regards. more

I agree with Mr Dugar that if you buy from Indiatimes - Do buy only on COD basis and that too after opening the parcel, finding the goods in one piece and working condition. If the delivery boy refuses open delivery - do nt take delivery and NO PAYMENT...!!!.. Online retailers have adopted this online ordering practice from USA but have not adopted the practic fullyand in full earnest. In USA - the practice is - you can return even after three - four weeks IF there is deficiency in service or in quality. WHEN WILL WE LEARN...???.. more
A couple of years ago, I had purchased a mobile phone through IndiaTimes, which was advertised at 67% reduced price, with three gifts - a gents watch, a goggle and a small speaker to be attached to computer or to mobile phone. The MRP mentioned on the three gifts ran into three digit figures, but they were available in the pavement market for Rs.80, Rs.100 and Rs.30 respectively. The mobile phone whose MRP was mentioned as 6990 was sold to me for 2299 and it was available in the market in mz locality for Rs.2100! more
INDIA TIMES IS NOT A RELIABLE SITE PURCHASING. SO NO ONE SHOULD TRY IT . more
Some 5 years ago, I had a very similar experience with this indiatimes online shopping website. This is an established virtual cheater who collects only money without delivering the goods ordered. I had even reported the matter to MD of India Times, which was synonymous with Times of India. I request every potential online shopper to refrain from any dealing with this e-retailer. Spread the message to your friend circles using appropriate modes. more
I do buy online but i always buy on COD (Cash on delivery) only. Secondly only open parcel once its delivered and before making payment. Few times delivery boy donot allow parcel to be opened than i simply refused. Now on solution part: 1. move to your nearest police station and lodge FIR against the company. 2. Lodge case against company at http://www.core.nic.in http://ncdrc.nic.in more
