Is the staff at registrar of companies selling information legally or illegally.
Recently my brother registered a company and within 3 hours, we had executives from icici, hdfc and one more bank i forget at our residential address. how is this possible unless within roc someone has backdoor deals going.

There is a portal called "efilingportal.in, A Digital India Initiative (!)" which, for all purposes, appears an official Govt website for company registration. We need to know if this is a truly official website. Can the Local Circles help & tell us. Once you register (till this stage, no payment is asked for), then there is a payment alert. As this value was 10 times what is charged at the Mini Secretariate in Gurgaon (including underhand payment to the cretin at the Secretariate who collects money in full view of everyone), I just held back & logged out. Since then, I have got 5 calls (from different mobile numbers) checking with me when I will "register". Some hoax afoot. more
