Inoperative account of PF
I have a company PF which I left 2010 and I didn't claim the PF amount. As gone thru EPFO website I got to know that my account will under inoperative account. I have sent composite claim form (Non Aadhar) by speed post to Chennai Royapettah office with all necessary documents. But no response from the EpFO end. Please suggest me what to do to claim the inoperative EPF account? more

3 years after the deposit ends, the account becomes dormant. Such accounts are difficult to be made operative without several personal visits. That way EPFO operates. more

You need to activate the UAN number of the PF Account that you are saying is a non UAN number Account. Go to http://epfindia.com website You will find the Activate UAN link on the Home Page. You will need to enter your PF number and date of Birth to find the UAN number associated with it. Once you know it you can login to it by associating your mobile number with the UAN no. After you confirm that all data is in order and KYC is uptodate, Bank details fine , you can apply for this old account to be merged with your new account. more
