Inquiry Commissions
How will holding an inquiry help ? Other than of course giving a chosen few to earn some money and perks for an unlimited period till they file a report which will invariably gather dust. Even if they do manage to complete the task in 2 years at the earliest, they will not find anyone guilty or any wrong doing by any person who is still alive. The best they can do blame the last government or Jyoti Basu !!! Just check the records to see the number of commissions set up and the number of people punished, my estimate is zero !!! more

Very true. That is a fact for Pan India. No one has been found guilty in Vivekanand Flyover Collapse or the U.P. Bridge collapse. more

Very true. better to hand over the enquiry to the Kolkata High Court. No politician is ever going to even feel guilty, forget admitting a fault. more

This is very true....but I remember that one commission named Mukhopadhyay commission was set up by the Vajpayee government which said that there was no plane crash on the day Netaji died.....and then it was ensured by all concerned that the report was placed in the Parliament.....there is this big problem of culture since the ill birth of a nation through power transfer.....Regards On Wed, 05 Sep 2018 13:01:51 +0530 Raj Jolly wrote > more
