Single slab of 10% should be introduced replacing 5, 12, 18 & 28%. Simplification and rationalising of taxes is the need of the hour. I am sure in the long run govt will earn more revenue and the economy will gain. more
Those who pay income tax, GST should not be charged to them. Any one is good. After paying 30 % tax and 28% GST, what is left ???? In the 40% of income we need to spend our daily need and save future. more
If it is set at 10%, that will be great! Since the inception of GST in July 17, there have been quite some changes in GST rates and shuffling of products from one rate to another, mostly from a higher slab to lower one. We hope the trends continues and settles at 10%, the sooner, the better. I agree with Padam. Our Community, including me, cherish an urge to avoid taxes wherever possible. If this changes, even to small percentage, it will certainly usher in many benefits. more
