INTEREST ON PF
Please be informed that no interest will be paid of PF accounts where there is no contribution from both the employer as well as employee for more than two years. It is suggested that the accumulated balance be withdrawn and invested to earn income. more

I understand that the condition of 3 years non contribution etc. is not in existence now. Please clarify. more

Sir, what about interest on pf if employee changed to other co. and linked old UAN no. with new co. pf then pf contribution has been going with new co. Whether interest will be credited new co. contribution or both new co. and old co. pf balances. This S Ramakrishna (Hyd) more

Interest will be credited till 3 financial years from the date pf contribution stopped with out any tax even after that interest will be credited which will be taxable. more

The PF account will become dormant once 36 months elapsed from the date of no contributions into that PF account, and no interest will be paid to dormant PF accounts from that month on wards by epfo. more
