Simply taking Homeo or any other form may not be of much help. This needs all round evaluation. I am not a doctor or therapist, but speaking according age/experience. There could be several reasons for this problem at your age: 1. Overweight. 2. Sedentary habits & no exercises. 3. For ladies - generally - excess use of pain killers may also result into this problem. This symptom or condition has been expressed many Allopathic doctors themselves. While medicines should be continued as supplements, only Yoga can help you alleviate from these chronic situations. Pranayam being fundamental - all forms of pranayam specially Kapalbhati, bhastrika, tri bandhs, udghit etc, backed up noli exercises will primarily improve your digestive systems, mental disturbance will be stabilised, all internal vital organs will be massaged and caressed and made to function normally. These by themselves will cause more than 50% improvement. As once the digestion is OK, vital organs are as normal as they should be and blood circulation is as it should be, other recoveries will follow and be faster. Then do specific exercises for arthritic pains - you can find them on the net as well. If you can rather should seek guidance of some expert for a couple of weeks to see that you are on right track. I am sure you would get back to your regular activities and bereft of these problems soon. Wish you all the best and God bless you for speedy recovery. more
2. You can also try a KNEE CAP ( It is available at all SPORTS stores for around Rs. 200/- Put on this knee cap on the calf portion which keeps your calf pressed . Release this after 30 minutes or as you feel comfortable. If Knee cap is not available, you can use a Thermal crap bandage instead. more
Physiotherapy is required for your problem. A small solution : 1. Take a long ( say 1.5 to 2.0 meters ) Dupatta / Gamcha type cloth and fold it into a strip of 4-5 inches. Tie/Roll this Strip tightly around your calf portion, which is paining , for around 20 minutes. You must strap this strip tightly so that your calf gets pressed & is kept pressed in same condition for at least 15-*20 minutes. Then release this strap like strip. Your jammed muscles get relaxed and You will immediately get relief. This works. You can give your feedback on this treatment. more
