Intl Flights to stay shut till Dec 31

I saw this recent survey. Can LocalCircles conduct another survey on shutdown and restrictions for banquet halls, markets, schools, restaurants, metro, multiplexes etc. seems like intl flights have been shut till dec 31st per the attached notification which will likely get extended to feb 28. No country wants Indians right now because of level of infection.

But something needed in immediate term to contain spread of virus during winter. America is 200000 per day and I am almost certain We are the same except our testing and reporting is broken.

Corona Virus has made so much of loss of life and life style that it is better to continue in restrictions than move in freedom. Let government plan and relax the restrictions, based on internal reports. more
if all the protocols are followed, the probability of Covid spread in airports/flights is miniscule. more
Avoid public gathering as much as possible. When you must, take proper precautions. There should not be a total shutdown of any entity. Certainly we can live cautiously for a few years, but we cannot totally abstain from living. As I mentioned, if we take proper steps, we should be fine. There will be victims to CV19, and I sympathize with the loved ones, but we can live reasonably well. more
Nirmala, please learn to be positive and optimist. At 83+, I have seen a lot more epidemic. I worked for more than 32 years outside India in a number of countries and continue to have many friends outside India. All my children were brought up outside India and are happily settled in US and Europe. Indians continue to be welcome in most countries even today. Not trusting our frontline warriors and claim that "our testing and reporting is broken" is outrageous. more
People need to stop pushing close downs. I live in a state in US where the Governor refused to shut down anything and left to individuals to make that choice. Our infection rate is not worse off over the states that shut down the states. We have little over 3% unemployment rate. People are able to keep the jobs, make a living and feed the families. The officials are getting blamed but if you looked at all the data they are doing just fine and not worse off over the states that shut down everything. Please stop fear mongering and requesting to shut down the economy. That remedy could hurt the country and people in the long run. more
