Investigate cricket world cup ticket black marketing

While the Indian team losing today was unfortunate the kind of black marketing that has happened in this worldcup has been outragious.

If you paid a premium in tickets or in hotel rooms or buying water food at match sites please share your experience more

Truth and truth coming out more
A lot of agencies like Hotels, Airlines, transport and hospitality companies charged a mighty premium but all this was official. There were rumours of tickets being sold in black privately. In countries like ours, there is always a demand-supply crunch and from the times of movie theatres decades ago to premium shows, black marketing is not new to our culture. The only cure to this is people having transparent channels to buy/trade tickets. Further, people in general should avoid patronising unoffical premiums and wayward transactions. In a country where we claim that we have reduced cash transactions, how is illicit funding being met? Is it all white money or corporate money or someone cross-funding this? I am aware of some revenue officials getting complementary box tickets courtesy their assessees. But in a stadium with over 1 lakh capacity, it is hard to believe that too many tickets would have been sold in black or given free. The cricket association's official price itself was high so they would have made enough money in the process. Then there are other private parties who did their opportunistic deals. Not to mention, the bookies and satta brokers. Time to make these cultural habits official and start taxing it. At least the government can get a share in such private deals, which otherwise would not get reported. India is a land of opportunity for the people who dare. The problem is with some value systems that we keep talking about, but most people do not bother to follow. So instead of debating on values, just scrap such social values, legalise black marketing and stay happy. People who can afford it will pay. Those who cant afford to pay will find their own means to watch the match and also be happy. more
BTW, what is the law against black marketing?? more
Mr. Dutta, in what capacity are you asking members to share their experience? more
See my video upload harpal sir more
tickets passes were given free to the person with source, who inturn sold them in between 90000 to 150000. No ordinary man got any ticket. BCCI chairman is jay shah who minted money and should be sacked, They did not have courtesy to invite Kapil Dev and Dhoni ( real heroes ) and instead invited bollywood naqli heroes more
