There must be an Senior Citizen Quota in Reservation & Senior Citizens should be provided Lower Berths. more

Install Cameras in all Railway offices including railway stations, godowns and platforms. This will reduce corruption, mis-behaviour and theft in railways. more

Dear sir, Thanks for your reply and happy to know that our suggestions are being considered. See last week being Vinayagar chathurthi festivel we were not able to go to Madurai from Chennai for an emergency work.Because there were no tickets in Trains and Govt buses.Tickets were available only in Red buses.Ticket fare in Omni buses was as high as 5 to 6 times the train fare.How can a middle class man like me can afford that much hiked fare?That is why I suggest that during festival times one train with unit train (suburban train ) coaches (only sitting facility ) may be run on trial basis first.For toilets the middle entrance of the coach may be closed and at that place E-Toilets may be provided.One such coach is equal to three omni bus and one train with 24 coaches is equal to 72 omni buses.If Modi Government really interested on poor and middle class people my suggestion may be tried.Thanking you,sir, sundararao.k.r. Dear RG, I have a problem regarding cleanliness in the coaches and around the railway tracks. I observed that there is no dustbin provided in the coaches, that's why passengers have no choice for putting their wastage, so they put these in the open space of coaches else throw outside on railway track. I also dare to speak that In India railway tracks are one of the best dirty place. In addition, due to these platforms are become also dangerous for human health. During travelling passengers have wastage like fruit coverage, plastic bottles, plastic papers other eatable items which have no suitable provision. Even no one dare to pickup any dropped thing in the coaches and throw outside or put up in his own bag and dispose the same in dustbin provided on the platform. If there is clean environment, your journey will be enjoyable. I would like to suggest both controlling body as well as passengers for keeping clean and make Railway better for all. thanks ..
