After a small of a few days, I today again got an awful experience for booking a tatkal ticket. As mentioned in my earlier messages, At the stoke of the starting time the system asks for unnecessary questions like verification of mobile no and verification of e mail address and the secession is dragged till the whole quota gets enhausted and gets the message of WL position. I am sure again unscrupulous/unauthorised touts have well got their place, with the well support, collusion and due help from the authorised staff and the genuine individuals are denied the tickets. It is very high time that the authorities take action and be active on a on going basis to put an end to this practice. more
Tatkal booking should be stopped now. It is creating problem and hardship for genuine passengers whereas Agents and Touts enjoy free lunch with corrupt officials. The scheme was started for passengers who genuinely need booking on an urgent basis but as it happens with many govt. schemes the corrupt take over and other suffer. In my opinion Tatkal as well as RAC should be abolished. more

IRCTC should review their website by Independent bodies. There are un-necessary advertisement in the screen and a customer finds it difficult to find the "capteche". There used to unrelated questions and confusions. Why can not be simple and to the point. The advertisements can be lower part of the screen only, instead of spreading in throughout the screen. more
