IS aadhar card updation required for pension
Hi I wanted to know if Aaadhar card no. has to be udated in EPF records for pension receipts. If so how does one enter the aadhar card number into the EPF account. Thanks. VIjay more

All said and don. The PF commissioner must find a better way for the linking of Aadhar to Pension. The Offices open 5 days a week between 10 to 5 Pm The pension amount is just peenuts and why should a man still working take a day off just to get Aadhar linked. The department should outsource the activity and extend it beyond working hours. more

You have to go to the EPF Office.They will take your fingerprints etc. and update your record as per the Aadhar Card. However, last month I went to the PRO of EPF and told him I do not have an AaDHAR Card.He then signed my application and my live certificate was updated. I do not know why despite Supreme Court's order, Aadhar card is being made mandatory.Even the Indian Railways are now telling that senior citizens need to produce their Aadhar card as proof of age. This is violation of the Supreme Court's order. more

Pl submit your Aadhar no. to EPF for receipt of pension. It will help you to submit your life certificate as well. There is no harm instead good only. If you have UAN and activated with login you can enter your Aadhar and request your employer to approve. Now epf website is down for some more time, may have to wait(3weeks +). You can also call toll free number 1800118005 It is easy procedure. more
