BSNL has "unilaterally" increased its BB charges from Rs 675 pm to Rs 699 pm as reflected in the current bill without any communication to its clients whatsoever. I have been trying to get in touch with BSNL office since the last 2 hours ---- and finally got in touch with its local office (Ms Shakuntala on (080)25711855. She could not provide me any reason and directed me to its BDA Customer Service, Koramangala to contact Mr. Revanna on 9448914343 (switched off) to ascertain the reasons for the increase in charges. My efforts for the last 2 1/2 hours yielded NO results. Being Govt owned is BSNL proving itself to be one of the worst Service Provider in our Country. My encounters with many of their staff in Koramangala (with a few exceptions) in the past when the BB connection was off for over 20-25 days proves their dis-interest in serving customers. At least with this feedback i wish that the Officials concerned in the Govt Ministry will take appropriate steps else i wish that BSNL can be safely closed down instead of harassing clients. more

I am using BSNL land lines, mobiles, and internet all the time. While there is no mention about BSNL showing the way to bringing down telephone, mobile and internet service charges, ,we arfe quick to we jump to shout over small rise. BSNL has a few Govt. Office attitudes. But I would continue to use BSNL nevertheless. more
Slowly with the technology upgrade happening and the behemoth that is bsnl like airindia will slowly die and govt similar to other business which is getting divested should not be there in many and should only regulate.Govt officials misuse the offices and milk it and all these are done at the tax payers money. It is taking a long time to divestment which should be done in a professional quick manner more
BSNL is going Air India way. A few more years later there won't be any buyer as well! I have a BSNL land connection and most of the time it doesn't work. It's high time Govt digests all non-critical businesses. more
I had a BSNL connection for several years in my office and would get inflated bills, running upto above Rs 1000/- whereas our main line was airtel and would cost half of that. Everytime we had an issue, one line man by name Venkitesh would come and do half a job. I suspect there was a part of the gang which was fleecing us. Several attempts to meet the BSNL offices on the 80 feet road, in HAL stage-1 proved futile as I was not able to breach the fortress. Finally we got the line disconnected in 2012. But I did not have any issues with my residential line, in the same building. There you go! more
