Is Cow Ministry needed?
Earlier this week there were reports of the Govt saying they are considering a Cow Ministry.
GOI has a department called Dept of Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries which does what know one knows.
Can the Govt not expand the charter of this department and get it to deliver than open one more ministry. Also consider putting some one like a Maneka Gandhi who is passionate about this subject incharge.
Thought the charter was Minimum Govt, Maximum Governance. This announcement is against the original charter.

The Narendra Modi government is planning on introducing a new ministry for cows, said BJP President Amit Shah in Lucknow on Monday.
The Telegraph quotes Shah saying that “there are many recommendations about a cow ministry. A discussion (about the matter) is on.”
According to the report, Shah did not specify what the mandate for the said ministry would be. It added that Uttar Pradesh CM, Yogi Adityanath was present with Shah at the press conference. Adityanath, who has been championing a ‘save the cow’ campaign, was reportedly the first to ask for such a ministry, requesting Prime Minister Modi in 2014.
BJP-ruled Rajasthan is the first Indian state to have a minister in charge for the welfare of cows. Prime Minister Narendra Modi rode to power in 2014 on a slew of promises, which include a national ban on cow slaughter. In April, the home ministry came out with plans to assign a unique identification number, Aaadhar, to cows. His home state Gujarat raised the sentence for cow slaughter to life term in jail.
In Lucknow on Monday, Shah described Modi as the "undisputed most popular PM" of India, claiming that the saffron party's government had succeeded in "ending the politics of family, caste and appeasement" in the country.
Shah claimed that if all the assistance extended to Uttar Pradesh were summed up, then it would be "2.3 times" more under the Modi government than what was given during the UPA regime.
Modi has come out twice in the recent past to condemn instances of lynching related to cow slaughter around the country. The issue has plagued the monsoon session of Parliament with the opposition particularly not letting Lok Sabha proceedings continue without a debate on the matter. more

They should have applied the policy of the then Social Reform of authorising Widow marriage like the marriage of widower keeping the issue mandatory that should have ERADICATED ALL THE ILLS AND EVILS TO THE WOMEN IN INDIA ; FEMALE IN INDIA ; AND , DEFINITELY , THE MEN AND MALE IN INDIA .
The most important is that , Indian Men and Women , Male and Female , Teens and of tender-age shall not be cornered or set for devastation through the evils and ills with the Laws of Rule and even the Rule of Law .
It becomes a must to refer the Clause {f} of Article 51- A that envisages
“ to strive towards excellence in all spheres of individual and collective activity so that the nation constantly rises to higher levels of endeavor and achievement “ .

The interest & might used by Congress Party in highlighting the issues in the name of Cow Protection Associations those running Anti Cow & Bulls Slaughters which evidented some places and just through Created roomers at other places in the last TWO years amidst many being caught red handed ;;;;;; APPEARS ONLY TO SUPPRESS THE ISSUE OF COWS & CALVES ONCE FOR ALL .
Castes & Religions should not be pierced in this issue and hence there is absolute need of formation of a Ministry particularly in view of the acute need that was also provided for , in our Constitutional article 48 .
