Is FSSAI a Maggi Nestle partner?

Why have they not come out yet sharing the test reports on maggi from 2015 and advising amount of msg and lead content then and now. Both are highly dangerous. See below:

lead is a cumulative toxicant that affects multiple body systems, including your liver and kidneys in particular. It is especially harmful to infant and pregnant women as it can cause damage to the central nervous system in children. Since lead is a heavy metal it can get stored in the teeth and bones, where it accumulates over time. In pregnant women, prolonged exposure to lead can result in miscarriage, prematurity, low birth weight, etc.

MSG, short for Monosodium glutamate, is an amino acid found in your body and most foods. It is a flavour enhancer commonly added to Chinese food, canned vegetables, soups, and processed meats. When consumed in excess, it can cause several health issues, including a headache, nausea, sweating, weakness, chest pain, tingling or burning in the face as well as neck and other areas. It is claimed that MSG can cause asthma and even brain damage.

MSG may cause adverse symptoms in some people, including a condition called Chinese restaurant syndrome or MSG symptom complex. However, there is no definitive evidence that MSG is solely responsible for causing these symptoms. Moreover, several official sources, such as the FDA, classified MSG as a food ingredient that's ‘generally recognized as safe.’ However, the use of MSG remains to be controversial. more

Very much possible and anything can happen and then the FSSAI people will not pursue the case more
Knowing that Monosodium glutamate, is an amino acid found in your body and most foods, the FSSAI should take corrective action more
It is hard to disagree with what Saurav Das has said. We need to inform ourselves before making allegations and conclusions. Also it is important to look at their practicality before making suggestions for changes. We must take responsibility for our health and welfare. Government can’t do everything. more
Yes you may be right, these multinational brands might be giving something under the table may be jobs to the relative to these bureocrats, ministers etc. more
Rohitji, I find it very interesting how we Indians feel so differently to different Governmental Monitoring & Controls !! On one hand, we feel that the Government, thru FSSAI, should completely control any & everything that is available in the Market classified as Edible for the safety & security of our Human Body while on the other hand, we have problems with the same Government, thru other Agencies like Aadhaar or CBI/ED, want to monitor our Communications & Finances, only for the safety & security of our lives !! How on earth can anyone monitor & control 1.2 crore edible products being used by us 125 crore people atleast 5 times everyday ?? There are Rules & Regulations about Quality Standards for all established Items that needs to be followed by all Manufacturers & Suppliers .. FSSAI can at best monitor & test Few Samples of each only !! By & large, we, as people, are simple & generally follow rules as does most Government Agencies & Private Companies (which are again manned by people like us !) .. We notice only when an Aberration is brought to our Notice .. like the Maggi case .. No one till date knows whether Maggi was at fault or it was just a witch-hunt by some spurned Inspector sitting somewhere in UP !! It is also True that there are Black Sheep everywhere, be it in the Government Agencies or Private Companies .. FSSAI is not duty bound to report on the Quality of every Product with Press Releases or advertisements !! If you are concerned about any Product, just write to the FSSAI or just file a simple RTI .. and you will know the Results in a very short while !! Otherwise JUST STOP HAVING MAGGI !!!! Local Circles should be used to highlight REAL Problems & Aberrations and not Normal personal worries & concerns that anyone may have just like that as per one's whims & fancies PLEASE .... more
