There can be a genuine charge for cancellation if individuals go for cancellation. Or card system can be implemented to get points to redeem for future journeys. more
No, a person named J.M. Chanchal, who, it seems from the posts, has left whatever mail that comes to him in his inbox, on auto-reply, including messages from localcircles. Misuse of a free facility. I reported the same, hence from this thread it has been removed. more
You people should be aware that 2-3 crore Indians travel everyday by train , so annually this amount is normally possible . Compared to population ,very normal . more
Most of the cancellations are done by travel agents. Railways lose a lot more from passengers who deliberately damage the upholstery, steal or misuse washroom fittings, carry extra baggage without paying for them, pull chains to get out at unscheduled stops and from indisciplined young boys who pelt stones and damage the glass windows. Instead of being a cash cow, railways on the whole incur usually a loss. I wish it could be privatised like Air India. more
Despite so many times pointing out, Localcircles becoming their personal service, that it keeps allowing spam messages by spammers. How come? Messages further entirely useless! Highly irritating. Ban repeat offenders. They increase load on servers, while their entirely personal gain messages, remain socially useless. more
What is this in reference to. Are you calling concerns of fellow circle members spam or is someone marketing something to you? more
