Is Tamil Nadu government secular ?
In the recent budget of the Tamil Nadu government, Rs. 6 crore has been allotted for renovation of churches and mosques. However, no money has been allotted for renovating gurudwaras. Is this act secular ?
Tamil Nadu government insists that non brahmins should be appointed as archakas in temples and Tamil archanas should be done in temples . It has not insisted that prayers should be done in mosques , churches and gurudwaras in Tamil language . Is it secular ?
Tamil Nadu government insist that Vinayaka idols should not be taken in procession during Vinayaka chathurthi festival. But, tasmac shops, cinema halls, public parks etc. are allowed to function.
Tamil Nadu government should re examine it’s priorities and should not allow an impression to gain ground that it is carrying out an onslaught against Hindu religion.
