Is the Govt helping large domestic retailers
The Govt recently clarified the FDI rules on ecommerce. Is this a way for Govt to help Big Bazaar, Reliance or do they intend to help the small player.
Whatever it is just like walmart, flipkart amazon should not give artificial discounts and drive local traders out of business, Reliance and Big Bazaar also should give artificial discounts.
The rules should be fair to all. The trader should be required to become more efficient also. Many of these traders still operate the good old way in cash and at MRP. more

Mr. Deshmukh, you are right. But the otherwise of the ground reality is, has any local trader or retailers have reduced their fat marjin in all these years. When the govt. Signed the WTO agreement ,it was explained, that this globalisation will bring competition, wide choice in the product range. When we can get cheaper products, these guys started shouting their business is hamper. So such fake hue n cry how far justifiable? Don't you think they have addressed their pricing policy by reducing fat margin n stop also selling products in the name of ORGANIC commodities charging heavily. A point to think over more
