This call will be better taken by Legal Meterology department and also with central excise more
I don't think that 'ISKON' is exempted from all statutory requirements! The statement appears to be an exaggeration of mismanagement and lethargic attitude of the concerned agencies failing to perform their duties in the desired manner to protect the interests of the common man. more
This is India. ISKON got permanent exemption from everything under the Sun directly from GOD. Hence, NO NEED to follow FSSAI guidelines. more
There should be enforcement authority, who should ensure implementation of fssai. more
Whether it is iscon or a cart vendor food safety is most concerned authoritis have to be most impartial in this regard. more
Wow, then it is very surprise and I don't know how it has escaped from my notice, As per the food adulteration act , no product should be released with out label, the label with all content specifications, manufacturing company name, date of manufacturing and expiry date, product utilities etc must be there otherwise they are liable for imprisonment with heavy penalty. This case then fit for PIL Yours. Nagaraja M K more
Is this FSSAI labeling applicable for Restaurants, Cake & Sweetmeat shops as well? So far as I know ISKCON products are sold in shops only in ISKCON premises and they are not sealed because it is freshly cooked. more
