It happens only in India
A postal employee was charged with a charge sheet for accepting a bribe of Rs.50 in about 1987 and conducted an inquiry and determined that he committed an offense. He was removed from service. The decision had been appealed against and finally reached the Hon'ble Supreme Court and it had been finally held that where an employee was found to have committed an offense and found to be guilty he was punishable irrespective of all other facts like quantum of amount involved. HE WAS CONFIRMED OF PUNISHMENT in about the year 2010 or so.
Another CM of a state had been found to be the main accused in fodder scam and was given a bail by Hon'ble SC.
Another CM of a state who was proved to have own disproportionate assets was convicted and she was granted bail with simple conditions by SC.
Another former CM of a state was convicted of corruption was granted bail on health conditions by the same SC and when he was found to have involved in election campaign the CBI approached the SC for cancellation of the bail.
Many of the employees were issued charge sheets on unfounded flimsy grounds and in the name of inquiry years are dragged. The courts orders are never cared to be implemented.

It is quite useless to talk on the above subject.I agee with Radha.We can expect better performance and development with Modi Govt.
