It is a blame game. Minister sanctioned but not done by Railway authorities. Ministers always make promises ONLY but they have no system for monitoring implemention status. Always only poor & innocent people are getting killed and who is bothered for these poor people. If it is an election time will cry for them after becoming ministers nobody is cared about common man. more

When we write or comment in these Circle, with due apology to the friends, one thing should be kept in mind : India is a country of 133 crore people. We are unable to manage our family and keep commenting without much correct information on the part of the Government. What Railways is today is hard labour of millions of people over a period of 164 years. It was started in 1853 I think. Annually, it has a revenue of 25 billion US dollars. 1, 30,0000 employees have got employment. And Indian Railways is the 3rd biggest Railway Network in the world. Micro talks do help but criticism should be constructive and based upon well researched facts not on the individual experiences. Yes, individual experiences do help the Railways improve its functioning. more
If the govt initiates action all the activists, labor unions, human rights people and media will go for their blood. After all in this country most of the govt is run on reservations and the rule is they cannot be touched. Will anyone stand up and start a campaign to get rid of reservations and more importantly immunity to these people? Secondly the govt can initiate action or set up systems but when do we as a people take responsibility - are we not chalta hai, entitled and wanting someone else to do everything for us? more
Mr. Appachathu you have really nailed the cause for the malady in the Railways . There is no system or an approach oriented through a right process. more
We have not heard the fate of actions initiated on the officials responsible for so many rail accidents. more
