The due date of all Income Tax Returns for Assessment Year 2020-21 will be extended to 30 November, 2020. Similarly, tax audit due date will be extended to 31 October 2020.
If individual date extended from july 20 to nov 20, tax audit should go from oct 20 to feb 21. more
Aditi Ji this extension of date for filling ITRs is interim as no body knows at present that how much this lockdown will go and if it prolongs than the dates will further be extended but at present government has given sufficient time by extending the dates for all types of ITRs from July 2020 and September 2020 to 30th November 2020 and date of audit from 30th Sept 2020 to 31st Oct 2020. Please don'e expect that everything will go according to your wish or my wish. Government has to think and plan much more keeping the interest of all as well as of Nation then our personal thinking and wishes. After lifting of Lockdown 4 Months time is sufficient to file ITR. more
