Providing security from whom? Why did these people who need security create enemies. I also need security. Will govt provide? Maharashtra High Court has ruled that for ex politicians and beauraucrats etc security should be provided by the party to which they belong. Our political parties are very rich. Had these parties been individuals they would figure in top 10 rich Indians. Nobody can be killed before his time. So why are they afraid? Will they hire security for themselves from their own pocket? I feel that having security has become a status symbol. This should becdone away with asap. more

Yes, but with present scenario its only waste of time as the responsible authority not a in position to take any strict action against those. We can image the scenario that Police security still given to political leaders specially of SP/BSP who have never won any election. Its purely misuse of system, same class directly/indirectly associated with political parties are most of the time using prohibited things. We must raised voice that our Police its not free, it really cost to us huge amount and some people using it for influencing public for their wasted interest more
