Jail for selling water above MRP
I was in bangalore earlier this week and read in the papers there that anyone selling water above mrp was being booked by the dept inspectors and arrests were being made. Why can't this be done in chennai and across the country.

Yes , the selling of water bottles and cold drinks are sold at higher rate at every Railway stations and Hotels. Even the tea is also sold at higher rates . Hardly any people is aware of the rates although the Printed MRP is mentioned on the bottles . I have seen almost all the people ask" kitna" ? The sellers take the advantage and takes higher price. The people pay very obediently. As I see the MRP and pay accordingly, the rogue vendors shout and abuse . The solution is very simple . (1) All the Vendors must have the name tag with the selling licence of the contractor . Merely a uniform is not just enough (2) The law protectors / makers must display the telephone numbers of the concerned authorities at each coach and tea stalls. (3) The nexus must be stopped . more
