Jantakhana (Only Puri Sabjee) not selling
It had been observed that most of the well known/bigger railway station vendors are not interested selling of Janata khana puri-sabjee pack. This is based on my personal experience of Howra Railway station. on lunch dinner time I taken a round of all the stalls/vendors of howara railway station on each and every stall price/item list meanu available which clearly listed janatakhana. while demanding every stall holders/vendor have a standard reply of out of stock. Actually In a whole day they are never having stock as they are not keeping item in physical stock intentionally to sell high commission/earning items. In janata khana profit margin is minimum. I had inquired more then 30stalls on all the 23 platforms.
It is my humble request to honarable railway minister shree sureshprabhujee to intervene in the matter so as to enable to ensure availability of janta khana for the poor passenger on most of the railway station where more then 10000, passengers are travel ling through railway. Reach or affordable passengers have a plenty source of item to purchase from pepsi-to- pizza. where as poor passenger is having limited item to by one of is puri-sabjee pack janta khana.
It is my humble request to railway ministry and IRCTC to establish and stringent monitoring of availability of janata khana and responsibility/accountability of Station manager is to be fixed for non availability of affordable food package. more

monitoring is required , most of the station janata meals is not available ,example ,puri, bubaneswar ,lokmanaytilak terminal,cheenai central and even food , rate and item with quantity and quality mentioned in the time table as per irctc that also not available . if in pentry car u ask for complain book ,pentry car manager denied the same. advise to IRCTC : plz give awareness progmarame in Jago grahak jago. this is mine 10 year travelling experience. i have lot of complain copy and also some video more

Yes. I found out that 1. Menu items not given according to IRCTC declared list. 2 idlis 1 wada with only chutney given for the price, where they are supposed to give 2 idlis 2 wadas with sambar chutney. 2. Meals also do not contain full items as declared. 3. Futher, overcharging done. When confronted, they simply vanish. more
