For past over n year or so facing cheating problem from Tatasky.
They will SMS " on Ur request "Kid Mini HD' costing 45/- will be added to your pack"
And channel added without any request from me the customer .
May be tatasky targetting customers with Ltd requirement . As I am staying alone n only watch Star Bharat and Sonny .
They are repeatedly doing this Cheating , upone protest they will call giving lame excuses like " If not u , someone else might have called etc "
Arre , once customer himself can manage his pack why should he request to you at all .
On 7th May they added same channel, on my protesting 8th it was Dropped and on 9th added again. How irritating nuisance . One is only left with job of keeping watch on ones packs .

I am sorry for late response to this LC posting, and for raising this issue once again. The issue of tagged selling of Dish Antennas along with the cable connection. The service provider's job ends where the choice of selecting the best tv antenna from the market starts for the consumer. I request the Department of Consumers, GoI, to take urgent step in the same way as the LPG connection has been separated from tagged selling of the LPG stoves. This is already very late and should be done immediately. We all know that the tv cable service providers have a very strong lobby the consumers of India must fight. more

TATA is a highly revered name to many Indians. But it is seen that name is being used a shield for cheating and various other acts of deception. Will Tata Sons, the holding company of all TaTa Enterprises, take note? more

Already subscribed to Hot star, but one wants some respite from cell phones and shift to TV for entertainment . As life already dependant / addicted to mobiles , and whatever time one can escape from mobiles the better . more

i agree with comments. TRAI intervened in free markets creating a havoc and increasing the rates for consumers. actually they wanted a higher GST collection. we are stuck with a corrupt system which offers you one thing but you end up getting another. only thing you can do is create a login on tata sky website to monitor your account on weekly basis. this way you can easily alter your packs. next best is to take subscription of annual OTT pack like hotstar, amazon prime,(netflix is costly) and try if you can switch the way you can entertain yourself. whether its DTH or mobile service provider best way to fight them is to ignore them and switch to something else. keep doing this. pressure will be upon them to retain the customers. karma returns. enjoy when they keep on pleading to you to get back to them. more
