Jio fiber adamant approach towards Address correction matter
** There has been 13-15 mail exchanges between 20th Oct-2024 to Feb-2025 for this petty matter, however 4 months over and no resolution.
** Also, 10-12 diff Customer care executives got involved including Case Managers who also could not influence internally. They attended on telephonic conversations. Ruthless to see wastage of company time as well customer time & efforts just to prove their ego.
** Repeating same story that once data is captured and validated initially at the time of installation and entered in CAF i.e Customer Application form, it cannot be corrected or updated.
** They consoled me that stern action will be taken against Mr.Kuldip Dave who gathered the details for booking in Oct-24
** Funnily, there is no way to escalate the matter to higher authorities nor facility of lodging complaint in Jio portal.
** I also proposed an easy solution -to depute their representative and fill up fresh form; but that too not adhered.
** Examples given that when agencies like UIDAI, Voter, Income tax, Ahmedabad Municipal corporation, Adani Gas, Torrent power etc are live examples where they have well placed system to correct Demographic details, then why not Jio cannot do !!
When our own home address is not captured correctly, as a customer we have right to fight out and Jio cannot deny nor can act so stupidly.
I lodged Grievance in National Consumer Helpline, but also could not do anything. Now, matter is put up to CERS, Ahmedabad who have intervened. Let us see what is the outcome.
Point to draw is when Data entry operator or Sale guy captures incorrect info, how we have to suffer...this is live example and caution. more
