Jio mart products have future manufacturing date

Jio mart the reliance company is shipping products with future manufacturing date and not just that. On their website no best before date is stated. Why in broad day light consumer ministry allowing them to flout the laws. I thought this circle’s claim to fame one of the issues was getting ecommerce sites to be consumer friendly? Legal metrology should be taking them to task. more

It is a common practice now a days to print future dates by the manufacturers. The government officials responsible for keeping a track on the subject are missing from the scene. more  
Jio Mart is not the manufacturer of the products. It is a retailer selling products manufactured by various different companies. However, they must ensure that the products they are marketing are in cpliance of the laws of the land. Our laws enforcement agencies are apparently failed in their duties. more  
The date is 05/10/2021, hence it is fresh. It’s expiry is 12 months from this date. Radha Puri may like to delete this post. more  
The date is not visible. Clear picture of DoM required. In many cases this type of mistakes do occur as such items are produced in small scale industry and sold thru top Ecomm. companies. Quality problems are also faced in the products of Amazon, Big Basket etc. Quality check is too poor in India. more
