Joints Pain post Chikengunia
After the Chikengunia attack, fever etc is gone but there is still severe pain in the feet & ankle restricting movements. Pse suggest treatment for early recovery. Six months is a long period.

I used to have body pain including knee. For about a week I took ajwaine (hindi) soaked in water and drink the whole lot next day morning in empty stomach. This has reduced the pain and Sugar level. Any ayervedic doctor can advise whether the same effect will be experienced in the case of chickengunia patients. more

Hello. I know of a remedy, which has been told to me by a family-friend, and I am told that it is effective in reducing limbs-pain after Dengue, Chikenguniya etc. # Here it is : Take some leaves of Parijaat ( also known as Parijaatak Or Praajakt) . Boil them in water , till the water becomes half of what it was. Then stain (chaan.na) it to remove the leaves. Put a pinch of (chmtibhar) Saffron(Kesar) in it ( optional) , and drink that glassful water. You have to do this for a fortnight, but it seems that the effect will start after a couple of days. # In case you use this remedy, please let me know the effect, so that we can pass on this info. to others.
