Judges Speak up!
Kudos to 4 senior most judges of SC who addressed a Press Conference today to apprise the people about the extraordinary abuse of 'master of roster' powers by CJI in selectively assigning politically sensitive cases to hand picked junior judges for desired outcome.

Just like politicians of a ruling party jockeying for plum ministerial births, these 4 judges are squabbling for high profile & perhaps paying cases. They should be discharged of responsibilities forthwith. Just as they claim that senior judges must get such cases, thus differentiating selves from other judges; they are contradicting this very argument by saying that CJI is first among equals. Such personal agenda can't be tolerated. more

Certainly not. It will only tarnish image of the judiciary. How can the public offer some remedy? By recalling the CJI? An immature move by the so-called highly intelligent and mature judges. more
