Even in big city like ours, door to door garbage collection is not done. It is myth if the survey says that people are satisfied with door to door garbage collection or upkeep of the Public Toilets. If upkeep would have been excellent then why people would have gone to the fields in the early morning for easing themselves. If you close your eyes & do not see the darker side of the reality & say everything is bright, colourful & blemishless then who on the earth will come & show you the sorrows, blackishness & garbage scattered everywhere? The best solution is to open your eyes fully & see the things as they are rather than believing the Survey Results who are either conducted by or surveyed by the bias minded people who want to show the world that money spent on Swachh Bharat is properly utilised & India which was full of garbage, toiled were choked & gutters were full upto brim are now free from all the filth. Now there is no choke at the gutters. This is just the opposite of the reality. Now whether to accept the reality or not is your own choice. more
Implementation by the Pune Municipal Corpn is not up to the mark and hence the scheme is not working. Period. If it was managed strictly, it would be a success. more
I completely agree with Mr H P Gurg.Change has come atleast citizens have stsrted thinking in this line.More has to done. At implementation level number of flaws are seen.all the stake holders has to be responsive. All along Lal Bahadus Shastri Road ,Mumbai bitter experience any one will get.At Gandhinagar Junction garbage is accumulated under the nose of traffic police post ,on the road itself vehicles are being washed just along side with Garbage control office opp to Madhuban Toyota Office,Just more
The basic reason for PM SWACHH BHARAT PROJECT moving at snail speed is high population causing extreme poverty . How can we expect people to think of Swachhata , when most of the citizens can not have two square meal a day. Only solution is restricting population growth. Best remedy will be limiting one child per new couple, withdrawing some or all of the Govt. incentives to new couples with two or more children and imposing a sort of annual fine per child to new couples having more than two children , with effect from a certain cut of date, irrespective of their cast or religion . The only reason fear the parties have is loss of vote bank. But looking to the recent Note Ban issue with so much public upsurge. BJP popularity has increased tremendously even . Similarly with such a population control step they will not have to face any set back. This is the only way left to save the country from incoming disastrous end. more
