I am a senior citizen of 73 years.
I had signed consent Terms before High Court Bombay for Arbitration at Ahmedabad in 2008. Now my health has Deteriorate over the years with Parkinson disease.
As I had signed for venue at Ahmedabad only, I am told that as it was a consent the signed before High Court Bombay, I can’t now change the place of Arbitration after 10 years. more

It is NOT the case, you can change the place of Arbitration with Special Leave of the Hon'ble Court in the given situation. Feel free for any help and assistance in Bombay High Court. more

That is India or Indian courts who do not respect their corollaries in their remit. It does not matter when & where you register your case or file. They have to consider your disability. Perhaps you need to reregister in local/nearest court & explain your disability(Disability act 1995 or 2012). Fight on visiting local court.. you will win. Put one more claim not respecting & harassment. more

Arbitration is intended to secure justice for the aggrieved party(parties). If it is to hold you to a decision of venue you made ten years ago in totally different circumstances it is defeating its purpose. You must file your request with the authorities to change the venue now due to your age and debilitating disease. Proper authentication of your present circumstances should elicit an affirmatory response.If the reply is negative you have every right to approach the Appeal Authority since your access to justice is sought to be compromised.
