Dear Sir, I am a regular traveller on Mumbai- Vadodara route. In the last week of January, I travelled to Mumbai at least three times, each time returning by Vadodara express. Twice I was in 2 tier AC and once in 3 Tier AC. The travel was between 22 Jan and 26 Jan, both dates included. Each time I saw RPF staff sleeping in the coach attendant's place. Once I even observed a gunman putting his semi automatic weapon in the linen compartment before going to sleep!! I wonder if there is a way to make these poor souls realize that safety of several hundred people is more important than their sleep. I am not naming them as I do not wish to be the reason for some poor fellows to lose their jobs. However my request is to instill a sense of responsibility in the RPF to ensure better safety in the people at large. The same RPF staff also some times go to second class sleeper and harass passengers travelling without reservation and sleeping on the floor. Can you do something about this? An audio announcement in each coach can help the railway to be better in many ways :- timely announce the alert for keeping the surrounding clean, let the passengers know the delay if any, service offered by the railway etc more

Of course, things have started changing. However, with a view to make jouney pleasant, entire area around tracks should be cleaned of litters and unwanted weeds/vegetations. If flower plants are planted in areas on both sides of tracks , it will make the jouney especially day journey a pleasant one. more

sir, as regards cleanliness the area surrounding the KV school,office of the senior section Engineer Electrical and telecom and the staff quarters is untidy at the city Railway station Banglore,the drains are open, try to do something about it, it is not sufficient of only the station premises is kept clean more

also carrying heavy baggage or luggage in and around train station should be made easy.it is very difficult to find porters now a days.So we need a mechanism to carry luggage around.some station have only staircases.I dont know how people who are little bit handicapped would be able to move around.Need to me made easy. more
