Kejriwal declines to move into duplex flat

After a controversy over the allotment of two five-bedroom duplex flats as his official residence, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday he would not use the accommodation on Bhagwan Das Road in Delhi. He had asked government officials to look for a “small” accommodation. He also defended the decision of his Cabinet colleagues to use government cars for work. “Many ordinary supporters were hurt by houses identified for me by the Delhi government.” But, controversy around official transport was not right. more

Mr.Kejriwal should have accommodation and security as per laid down norms for Chief Minister of capital of India that is Delhi. it is not his personal choice. It is government protocol. He should abide by the law of the land. He is no longer head of NGO, but he is Delhi CM. He should get the house and facilities which chief ministers were getting earlier. He has no choice, he can not dilute norms already established. Moreover bungalows are already existing, No new bungalow is being built for him. He should occupy one of the existing bungalows he is entitled to as CM. more
Statements before election and after becoming CM are controversial. On Sun, Jan 5, 2014 at 10:32 AM, Deepak Jain wrote: > more
without having the facility / infrastructure no body can run even a small company. To work properly one need all facility . As far as minister or CM are concerned ,they all should avail facility available to work properly and in prompt time. We should not discuss and waste time for these things. We should discuss the ideas how the thing can be done in a best possible time. Not like the earlier Govt. more
I somehow feel people are reacting allot. He is a Cheif Minister and do need a office and good house where he can stay conviently and execute the dream he has thought for Delhi. Also about the transportation, again they are coming to office either in auto or metro. But to speed up their work they need to travel, they need to use transport to reach between people , attend meetings and meet the officers. For which it is quite right to use official transportation. People who are working in MNC either in marketing or hiring jobs don't use these facilities. Even if they are using there own transportation they do charge petrol they spend to vsiit offices. So they are right till they are not misusing my putting red light and carrying fleet of cars to disturb the traffice and common people. People should support them instead becoming part of cong and BJP dirty politics to divert their energies in these things more
Absolutely correct Mr. Brij Gupta. more
