Keraglo and its impact on liver

A friend’s young patient died today. He was prescribed Keraglo, a very common medication prescribed by many Dermatologists for hair and skin .

KERAGLO has borage seed oil & greentea extract which leads to liver failure. Doctors and patients both need to be educated on this.

Also FSSI which approved this per the attached more

I am afraid that You are indulging in scare mongering. The liver damage is caused on prolonged use of this tablet and not for a short duration. Probably, the Patient's allergy to the medicine is revealed initially itself if it causes nausea. Either the patient has not reported properly to the Doctor or the doctor has not paid attention leading to fatality, which is deeply regretted. more

FSSAI should do its work and take action on its internal process. ALso, CBI should look into FSSAI internal corruptions as many cases are coming out for FSSAI. more
