The area where I am living in kerala ppl are seen pillion riding no masks no wonder after so many days of single case reporting yesterday suddenly 19 cases blame on across state entry of abroad entries but the state is getting too over confident ! No body is states enemy ! Just an alert ! more

The issue is perceiving India as a monolithic single entity. 1.The stages of spread of corona virus and its impact on each area is different. In Kerala and possibly Karnataka too, it appears that the epidemic has gone past its peak while other western states are a bit behind these two states. In eastern states, the ascent of the graph has just about started. Each state will have to be provided freedom to make some decision on various issues within certain parameters to. We have the examples of California and New York state in USA as good reference. 2. The guest workers in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala are keen to go back home due to multiple reasons. It will be rainy season in the western states from June during which the guest labourers will have lower opportunities of employment while it is sowing season in eastern states from they come where they can get gainful employment even during lockdown. Dedicated trains to guest labourers from eastern states in western states can solve several problems - strss on the western states for taking care of guest labourers, gainful employment for the guest labourers in their home states, better agricultural productivity in eastern states and its impact on the economy. more
