Khadi - govt body is profiteering
Here I give another example of how according to me khadi kvic is profiteering.
See this jasmine oil product. Its mrp today is 150. It was 150 in sept 2017. Though govt moved it from 28% bracket to 18% bracket in nov 2017. Khadi decided to keep benefit to itself then passing to consumer and did not lower mrp. Mrp should have been 132 or so.
The issue is they do this over milliOns of quantities it really adds up. more

Madam thank you for bringing this to the members notice . If MRP is Rs. 150 with 28% GST , the basic price WITHOUT GST works out to Rs. Rs. 117 . Now on this basic price of 117 add GST 18% , it is Rs. 138. The marked MRP is 134. So the MRP is even less than the calculated price of 134 . I really like to be corrected to know where I have gone wrong . Basic price without GST = 117 with GST 28% = 150 x 128% = 149.76 WITH GST 18% = 138 x 118 % = 138.06. The MRP at which sold is Rs. 134 Rs. 4 less than what it should have been sold . more

must be old stock and i presume only on the new stocks they will change it. You can find similar issues at lot of items in stores. more

Citizens keep on painstakingly bringing out huge number of such valid issues hoping for some authority to take action ... my impromptu reaction is 'andher nagari chaupat raja'. more
