Kind Attention Shri Modi - our Honourable Prime Minister

I read through news from the newspapers that there is a power shortage in Delhi. I am saddened to know that this situation is created by Congress government which didn't do much to tackle it.

The best viable solution to solve it in real quick time is make it mandatory to install solar power generators in each and every house.

By going solarise in all roof tops, it helps to generate self sufficient electricity for each and every house. Delhi being the capital of India should be made affordable. This is a real quick solution to solve the power crisis.

Hope this post is shown to our honorable prime minister. Being the true citizen of India, I am there to help our Government to find solution. Please excuse me if my solution is not a great idea.

Natrajan.R I have been associated in the Power Problems of this country. There is a total mismatch of demand and supply of Power. We have to improve our generation capacity of existing thermal units and expedite installing the new units cutting down delays. Alternate source of Energy be it, solar, wind or geothermal. We should use all sources of energy to meet the incresing demand more
Dear Mesquite. Solar is only to be used as a supplemental power generation source. This will ease out pressure on the conventional power generation units that will be able to provide more power to the deprived areas. I think it is a good idea suggested by Sridhar. Street lighting can be done by using solar power as the solar cells capture energy during day time and use it through the night. The only problem with Solar or Wind power is high investment cost. But in the long run i.e. after 15 years or so, the power becomes almost free. more
Dear Mesquite Ice, please read through this article provided in the link http://www.britishgas.co.uk/blog/articles/does-solar-power-work-in-the-winter more
Power cuts happen in the day and power supply should be available after 6pm... if the power goes off in the day, solar panel should work.. more
