Knee pain

I am suffering from pain at the left side of the left leg knee. The orthopedic doc advised me some exercise and application of some ointment. I am follwing the advice sincerely. This is third month, still I am not getting the relief. Can any advise the remedy more

Dear Nagappa and chopraji. The cartilages at that particular point might have been degenerated.. The blood circulation at that point is not enough when you sit for longer time..These are all age related apply oils and give hot fomentation reduce weight drink plenty of water. Oils containing pine oil works better. more  
Use Pidantak oil of Patanjali. Lightly apply. After 20-30 minutes, give warm shek. Warm a thick cloth on tava and touch the affected part. Try this for a week. Later apply only oil. See if the pain goes. more  
Joint pain in any part of the body may arise due to lack of air and water in the body. Knee pain arises due to over friction of joint bones or non-functioning of bones near knee cap. By providing sufficient water and air through the body may heal the pain and recover pains gradually. Remedy: PRANAYAM - ALOMA VILOMA PRANAYAM WITH RECHAK AND POORAK FOR HALF AN HOUR DAILY. KAPALABHATHI FOR PROVIDING SUFFICIENT OXYGEN IN THE TOTAL BODY REDUCING AND HEALING KNEE PAIN. BOTH EXERCISES ARE PREFERABLE IN THE MORNING AT THE TIME OF OR BEFORE SUNRISE. SAME PROCESS CONTINUE IN THE EVENING JUST AFTER SUNSET UPTO COMPLETE DARKNESS TAKES PLACE. more  
Dear Sir, I am having pain in a half inch portion on the bone at the left of my right knee. This has been for the last five months . I have applied ointment , do massage and also do hot and cold treatment ( RICE ) . I have got X-rays twice . All gaps are normal . If I keep walking pain is less but if I sit for longer duration then I feel pain at that point or left of the knee . I am worried this may not develop into oesto-arthritis . I am 70 years old .I fell down while changing underwear in Nov and also while inAustralia in Dec . Please advise accordingly. more
