Land acquisition bill by BJP ---pro- industrialists , against farmer/common man

Enforcing the land acquisition bill so urgently through an ordinance and more importantly making amendment exempting 5 industries from land owners consent is another clear cut example of how BJP is no different from congress and it is totally pro industrialists and against the farmer/marginal land owners / common man. The 5 industries exempted are infrastructure projects (this includes power plants, highways), housing projects, industrial corridors, defence installations and rural infrastructure . It is these projects only which account for almost 80 % of the land acquisition . So , in effect, they have exempted majority of the projects from the new bill which proposes to make consent of a majority of the land owners mandatory before the land can be forcibly acquired . Here also, they have favoured the industrialists by reducing the majority consent requirement from 85 % to 70 %. In fact , the so called corrupt congress had proposed a more profarmer bill with their minister Jairam Ramesh putting in many clauses which tried to balance the game and give equal rights to farmers and industrialists against the heavily loaded pro-industrialist present LA act. AAP should communicate this injustice by BJP to common man and expose their true face effectively. . more

It is like giving full liberty to corporate houses to kill farmers and suck their sweet blood easily. It was BJP which opposed the old land acquisition policy and now they have adopted old one policy. It is openly murder of democracy by making false promises and taking U turn after getting power on taking votes of innocent people. more
It is not right to find fault in every action of the govt. The development had came to a standstill by a totally impractical act passed by last govt. We need to balance the development with the interest of farmers and I think this is an attempt in the right direction. more
very difficult to balance growth and genuine rights of farmers but i think if our top leadership sit together with a view to benefit industry and farmers ,better solutions can be found. more
Its a very sensitive matter for one side there are development considerations and on the other the genuine concern for the weak & marginalized. How to balance the two? To not to be seen as anti-development ( example W. B.vs Tata ) yet at the same time champion the rights & concerns of the have-nots? more
