Agriculture will surely suffer by this Land Acquisition Ordinance.... more
Land acquisition will be on the increase with the coming of more Industrial Corridors. Black money invested unutilized lands should be used for this purpose, but this is difficult as it will be owned by influential and rich people. But if agricultural land of poor farmers are acquired as this is more easier to acquire then agriculture and green India will suffer. The meager compensation after deduction of Income Tax as per the new Act will be insufficient for the farmer to buy new agricultural land. more
