Over 24,000 acres belonging to various temples (endowment) in Telangana is in the clutches of land-grabbers.
This constitutes 25% of the 87,000 acres of endowment land. Encroached land is almost double the size of Cyberabad.

Gurukul trust lands in and around Hyderabad worth several thousands of crores were occupied by wealthy and powerful - If not more 50000 acres of Temple trust lands are occupied by thousands of peoples - Hindus trusts, Temples are the most easiest target in this country. Hindus are having Kumbhakarna sleep and I do not when they wake up from deep slumber more

It is time the the ownership is checked/crosschecked at least once in three years with reference to the Deeds of TitleTenancy and/or devolution and partition of Titles over lands in respect of all hold of lands. It is, of course, implied that Deeds are issued evidencing tenancy of lands. Issue of such Documents of Tenancy over lands will enable the owners to transfer possession to himself or to another Tenant if the previous tenants turns out a defaulter.. Such documents will also enable Banks to issue loans on Lodgement for equitable Mortgage of Tenancy Rights. In the process it is possible to uncover cases of Temple Lands grabbeds. more
