Late running Trains
Train No. 16528 Yeswanthpur Express from kannur to yeshwanthpur(bangalore) is an always late coming train. 80% of the passengers are students/Techies Office going professionals. This train is the only train from malabar area connecting Bangalore. Road Route is closed from 9pm to 6am due to reserve forests. So majority of the people use this train daily to travel between Kannur to Bangalore. The official time of this Express train is 1800 hrs it starts from kannur and it should reach next day morning 0605 it has to reach Banaswadi and it will take 1hour 35minutes to reach yeshwantpur which is just 15 km from Banaswadi. The entire time chart is prepared to support Private Bus lobby operating in this route. This train travels in reasonable speed upto Erode then the delay game starts. Even though I am a frequent traveler in this train, I never reached in time so far. Usually this train is late for more than 1hour. I request concerned authorities to please check the running chart of this train and take action against corrupt officials in the department who are working for the Private Bus operators. Several Organizations has asked for the increase of Sleeper coaches in this train, but nothing happened. Request an urgent action from the new passenger friendly management of Railways more

Please put curtains in Ac III tire compartments. specially the side compartments. This will avoid disturbance to the passangers sleeping during night time. this will also give privacy to ladies. more

More new coaches should be alloted to souther railway and attached to south bound trains and originating in southern districts of tamilnadu and all long distance trains originating from southern railways more

The coaches in scrly and southern rly are all very old and in shabby condition. Though perambur coach factory produces new coaches, none is allotted to these zones. This was the case for over 60 years of congress rule. But the2 years of NDA rule is also same Luke b4. The southern part of India is not recognised by the successive govts. Though quite a few ministers are from south, they give a feeling that they have no time for improving journey comforts and decent coaches. I invite these ministers and NDA leaders to travel in south by train at least after which some improvements may take place. Trust this post will reach the hon. Fly Minister for speedy action. Banasawadi to Yesvanthpur it is taking two hours for around 16 KM journey. Earlier the train was reaching YPR @ 07:15, then changed to 7:40 and further changed to 8:00 since last May'15. Earlier the train was allowed to proceed from Banasawadi before the Howrah Yesvanthpur Express. The problem started after Howrah-Yesvanthpur train started over taking this train. It is very clear that SWR is side lined this train purposefully. Even after several requests railway is not ready to take any action. more
