Laws against Abusive Language Usage
I was speaking to someone who is a regular visitor to Prime Ministers office and he cited localcircles website and this specific Transforming India circle as place for constructive citizens feedback on controversial issues and hence i want to initiate this new discussion here.
Can we please brainstorm what it would take to stop the usage of abusive language by our population. Such language and curse words have become part of many people's vocabulary and they really should have place in a great nation. our children from elite schools of delhi know them even better than their parents and grandparents. I have even heard women working in call centers are using such language with customers on the phone to collect dues.
Can a law be enacted such that if evidence (oral or written) is presented of someone using abusive language (for ease refer Pahlaj Nahlani set of words banned in movies) then they are liable for a penalty or a court hearing similar to a traffic violation.

The abusive language comes out of frustration and illiteracy....Sometimes, literate people also use it....This is because since independence, our political leaders have taken their so called development path (though it is also an eyewash) and have forgotten our heritage, moral standards etc etc. The education system is completely out of tune....We have lost our Gurukul System if Education to foreign induced courses....What will happen...!!! more

Old Convent Education, Later the English Medium School goers become more abusing than the natural Rurals. Over Criticism , Exposing enthusiasm in Channels and Associations paved for habitual ABUSE and use of Abusive language. There is no meaning now a days in any abuse . Persons getting either frustrated or Selfish Exposures .

Why you want another law, when existing laws are unable to be implemented ? Simply make sure who ever uses an abusing language, he is likely to punched in returned. Ensure such cases are not entertained by police. Allow the individuals to sought it amongst themselves, even if it leads to death of a person. Let people fight amongst themselves, let their be bloodshed & things will return to calm after few deaths on either side, with society coming into picture & giving both of them a serious warning of being ostracized in the society. more
