Lay Storm sewers alongside main sewers
It is seen that whenever a sewer is laid in a city, the authorities seldom lay storm sewer. Clearly the rainwater is supposed to drain off through these sewers. But being of limited capacity these sewers are not capable of carrying the rainwater effectively. Thus the rainwater mixed with sewage enters the households and plays havoc. This negates the very spirit of cleanliness.
I hereby request the authorities concerned to look into the matter and make it mandatory to lay storm sewer while laying main sewer and also ask the private builders to follow this norm. more

Re : burning of agricultural waiste, house hold garbage etc.; in most developed countries they have Government agencies or NGOs who collect these at source, process and make these useful for indudtrial use (can be feritikizer, fuel or recycling) or disposal without adverse effects. Free Trash Bins/big bags are made available to the public for this purpose. Re : keeping cities clean, the Government (including Muncipalities) have by and large systems & manpower; but no one really works or bother. The equipments are hardly used or maintained. If the system works effeiciently, many problems will not exist. Such activities need to be monitored by RWAs, muhalla groups etc who should have adequate authority to take action. RWAs/Muhalla committes can take appropriate action agains residents not complying with rules of 'MAINTAING YOUR AREA CLEAN' more
