Layoffs everywhere
I know this LocalCircles circle has many startup founders and Entreprenuers. My question is why was everyone hiring like mad and now suddenly huge layoffs. This go mechanic laid off 70% workforce. I mean what kind of companies build such bubbles and then shut. Microsoft laying off 10000. Share chat, Ola and on and on. What a mess. more

there are 2 question in 1 statement. (1) why so huge employment is done why not plan. (2) why there is lay off. my answer is companies do so when they find profitably is likely to go down in coming years. This is fear. the best solution would be company to offer job basis contract to to the layoff worker. with condition of time, and say U can do job out side too but not the similar. this may solve problem of both employee and employer more

Imagined number games and playing with the future of the skilled workforce, has become a usual habit in India. Don't know who believes and invests in them. Wherein the same cannot be practiced elsewhere, especially in Europe. While the population has been a boon for India, it is a bane as well, where one gain on others' loss. This practice needs immediate attention, while the gainfully working masses can continue to contribute in a meaningful way and keep increasing experience with salary and may not be forced to stare the unbalanced work-life mathematics and feel scared to keep paying monthly bills for home and kids. It is a dangerous trend that has been increasing and throwing life out of gear for those impacted. more
