LC - get income tax filing date extended
LocalCircles you had escalated the issue of INC 22 active date extension and the date got extended from April 25 to June 15. Kindly submit plea to the Government to extend income tax filing date from July 31 to Aug 31 at the very least.
Everything is running late this form tds return date to giving employees the form 16. Some still havent gotten it as the date is july 10. In 20 days its impractical for people to file returns.
Would appreciate if other members support my demand by commenting or marking my post helpful.

Yes, it's a great understanding. Hope the govt too understands the constraints faced by middle class tax paying common men and women and accordingly extends the time period for filing tax returns. After all it's our great contribution made to the govt. for giving us the facilities we deserve to receive. Unlike the rush made during Demonetization period where common people lost out heavily due to insufficient time on hand, govt must handle our problems with greater sensitivity and patience. Form 16s are badly delayed. Why tinker around till June and not allow us some breathing space? more
