Leading Pathology Labs misleading

LocalCircles you did an excellent survey last year on path labs and peoples trust. See attached how labs like lal and others in lucknow are misleading people to get immunity test done because there is little money to be made on covid tests.

My request to localcircles is to do this survey again as this year has been year of getting tests done. Lot of issues will come out. more

Most of the medical professionals are trying to mislead the public, with the intention of extracting money. Why the pathological labs be far behind. more
Yes, it has become a practice once Govt. allowed private agency to carry out the test. Govt. never wished to discipline such agencies nor framed the charges. So everyone is enthuiastic to loot the common people. Maharshtra Govt initiated first to disciplne the agencies scaling down the charges and then display the facilities available on official website and improving outreach. Similar efforts were taken a few states only later. So these agencies got enough opportunities to loot in absence of any regulatory framework at all. This is very unfortunate a sever fear was imposed on peoples mind and that convinced people to undergo test compulsorily. Govt. is still in no action mode other than giving some stupid suggetions. Very unforunate, all such wrongdoings became a system in the regime. more
Covid time is looting time. Every one who has a chance to loot is looting the common man. The Doctors charge Rs1,500 for on line consultation, the labs charge like hell and they have an understanding with the doctors who get commission out of it and the list goes on more
Nowadays, everything is only BUSINESS. People even forgotten business ethics. Therefore few Lab people use to see that we never get out of their orbit for continuation of their earnings. Certain majority Doctors are also involved in this more
Right...as long as the path labs do not calibrate their machines and equipment, results will be favoured to disease perpetrator. more
What Sri Umesh Kumar says is a good idea. However, there is one big problem with all these labs. 1- These labs take the customer's phone number and at frequent intervals keep harassing asking them to take tests both through calls and text (SMS) messages. 2- When asking for tests, they force us to go for packages which are costlier than the tests that we want. In Chennai, both Lister Lab and Aarathi scans are guilty of these practices. more
