Legal Metrology is failing in its job
Ecommercr companies like big basket myntra jabong are blatantly flouting rules by not listing mrp of product.
If this circle was instrumental in getting govt to amend rules, why are the officials failing to issue notice to culprits and enforce these rules.

I do not agree to some of the comments. It is true rhat it is the duty of officials to ensure implementation. Suo motto action against the violators is only the dream. But in the process we forget our own responsibility whixh is to raise the voice against mal practices and makw complaints and complaints till we ensure that the action has been taken. Lets understand without making complaints against unfair business we do not have rights of a fair business practices from the industry. Many a times I gets discouraged when I find people at market not asserting for fair business and shut their eyes as if it does not conceen them. Recently I wanted certain sample complaints against Home Saaz but not even a single complaint received. Lets discharge our responsibilities and assert our rights. more

i buy from big basket and on all products i buy MRP is printed and i compare with local super market and they are same but i get discount with bigbasket and nothing from super bazar and i get the product home more

I don't agree that we blame the authorities for everything. When businessmen don't have any ethics of their own and the objectives are only to make profit it is the customers who have to be careful. As we all know how Amazon the giant online store of the US gave up to Alibaba in China but concurring the online market in India because of this point. Thanks more
