Let the Government focus on Governance and not get into the business of everything. Why the Government not frame proper rules and ensure that these rules are strictly followed. more

MLAs should visit all the colonies of their assembly in rotation frequently to monitor the problems and solutions by framing minutes of meeting with RWAs / Mohalla Samities for effective pursuance. more

Mr Rakesh Kumar seems confused.Here we are discussing the role of Delhi Govt.The water,sewerage,PWD are all under Delhi Govt and they can certainly take action on these issues and not pass on the buck.But for all this MLAs HAVE TO INTERACT WITH RWAs anf find solutions. more

I find that about 35% of the problems are related to immediate neighborhood and can be solved by the Mohalla committees. In case a few members do not cooperate(say by not paying their maintenance charges,or RWA itself having vested interest) what the Government can do? About another 50% belong to local administration including MCD, PWD, Water, sewer. Where ever the RWA's have developed good repo, the works get done.
